A 31-second silent film. Illustrative AI scenes show a sealed vial with a freeze-dried cake, gloved hands loading a sample vial into an HPLC autosampler and a laboratory refrigerator. Computer renders of the real packaging show a KB GOLD LAB vial label with its LOT number and expiry date, and a phone over the round NFC seal on the white box, showing the result Genuine seal, box sealed. Captions: Quality is not a promise. Every batch analysed. No batch is released without its laboratory report. Every box is sealed with NFC. Tap to verify. Stored cold, at 2–8 °C. It's a fact. It ends with the KB GOLD LAB logo, kbgoldlab.com and the line For laboratory research only. Not for human or veterinary use.

OUR STORY

Built on curiosity.
Guided by science.

Every meaningful discovery begins with a question.

KB GOLD LAB was founded with a clear vision: to establish a research-focused brand where scientific curiosity meets an uncompromising commitment to quality, transparency and precision.

We believe that responsible scientific research begins with reliable materials, clearly documented specifications and a supplier that takes analytical standards seriously.

Our vision is not to create the largest catalogue of research compounds. It is to build a carefully selected collection supported by rigorous quality control, transparent documentation and independent analytical verification.

By evaluating suppliers from across the world and prioritising traceability, accountability and scientific integrity, we aim to establish a new standard of confidence for the UK research community.

THE KB GOLD LAB STANDARD

Quality is not a promise.
It is our standard.

At KB GOLD LAB, quality begins long before a product becomes part of our collection.

Our suppliers are carefully evaluated against defined criteria, including product specifications, manufacturing documentation, batch traceability and analytical transparency.

Every product intended for our collection must undergo our structured quality assessment, including independent laboratory analysis of the relevant batch.

We do not believe in compromising standards to expand a catalogue.

Our principle is simple:

If a product does not meet our standards, it does not enter our collection. No exceptions. No compromises.

QUALITY CONTROL FRAMEWORK

Three Stages. One Standard.

A systematic approach to quality, traceability and independent verification.

  1. STAGE 01

    Global supplier selection

Suppliers are evaluated against our sourcing criteria, with particular attention to product specifications, production documentation, traceability and transparency.

  2. STAGE 02

    Batch documentation & review

Incoming batches are reviewed for product identification, batch numbers, supplier documentation and consistency with the agreed specifications.

  3. STAGE 03

    Independent laboratory testing

Each batch intended for release is subject to independent analytical verification, including identity, purity and content testing using appropriate validated or scientifically suitable methods.

The scope of additional testing is determined by the product and applicable requirements.

“Only batches that satisfy our documented quality requirements are eligible for release.”

The verification status and laboratory documentation of each individual batch are shown on its product page once available.

QUALITY STANDARDS

Our Quality Standards

The principles we apply to batch sizes, verification and storage. Evidence for an individual batch is shown only in that batch's own documentation.

  1. Fresh Batch Philosophy

    Smaller batches. Regular replenishment.

We aim to keep inventory lean by ordering carefully managed quantities and replenishing batches regularly, so that products spend as little time as possible in our storage. A recent delivery does not necessarily mean a recently manufactured batch: the dates that apply to each batch are given in its documentation.

  2. Independent Batch Verification

    Identity. Purity. Quantity.

Each new batch is intended to undergo appropriate independent analytical verification of identity, purity and content before it is released for sale. Where a batch has been verified, its laboratory report and batch details are published on the product page; until then it is shown as pending and cannot be enquired for.

  3. Temperature-Controlled Storage

    Controlled +2 °C to +4 °C.

Our intended storage range for compatible peptide products is +2 °C to +4 °C. Where a product's specification or label sets different conditions, those product-specific stability requirements take precedence.

RESEARCH USE ONLY

A collection for the laboratory.

For laboratory research only. Not for human or veterinary use. These products are not medicines, food supplements or cosmetics and must not be used for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. We supply research organisations only; we may ask about the intended research and may decline any enquiry. Product imagery is a packaging visualisation; final specifications and batch documentation must be confirmed before supply. A product is released for enquiry only after its batch has been approved and a separate product-level regulatory assessment has been completed.
